   I've been MIA from the blogosphere but this time is for good reason... As stated in my last post on Valentine's Day - I went out of town for a few days and when we returned home we got news that my Father-N-Law passed away. My Husband took it harder than expected and everyday we had a host of family and friends that came over to visit. We are still receiving cards, calls, and texts and I'm so very thankful for everyone who reached out to us during this difficult time. So, with that being said I did my nails last week in honor of my Father-N-Law... Death is NEVER easy but God don't make NO mistakes!

Just Another MANICure Monday... AKA Inspired!

Happy Monday!!!! I'm here yet again for another Manicure Monday post... One thing I can honestly say: If I'm NOT here for ANYTHING else I'm here for my weekly Manicures. lol

I was going to go with the typical "Valentine" Mani but figured everyone would be sharing those this week so I decided to do the opposite. This week as the host of "Manicure Monday my nails were inspired by the colors of the soriity AKA. Mimi of (Lipgloss and Binky)  should be very PROUD of me. *Claps hands* I must say that that the ladies of this sorority has been nothing short of amazing. They have REALLY supported me when it comes to my business. When $ALES are low there is ALWAYS an AKA sitting back ready to place an order. So, I salute and honor them this week w/ my Mani for showing my business so much LOVE!

NOTE TO YOU: The dots were done using a dotter... I use to use Q-tips or a toothpick but I finally upgraded and purchased a dotter from Amazon for as low as $2 for a pack of 5.

Just Another MANICure Monday.... TR Love Cosmetics Review!

Holà! Happy Monday Loves…

Last week I shared that I purchased Tami Roman of Basketball Wives the new nail polish & gloss from her TR Love Cosmetics. Well, I got an opportunity to use the nail polish and I can honestly say that I’m very impressed with the overall results.

1^st off let me just say upon ordering the polish it shipped really fast and it arrived safely and secured as I have my share of HORROR stories with polishes being mailed.

 

The polish came on very smooth and dried fairly fast. (drying fast is ALWAYS a concern for me because I like to polish my nails on the go) I applied (2) two coats however the color came on evenly with just one coat.

The only hiccup I ran into is the way that the top screw off… Be very careful because the cap is not connected to the actual paint brush top and when I initially open the top polish splattered over my hands and clothes but I no worries I was quick and had polish remover on deck to clean it up.

What I like most is what you see is what you get. The color applied exactly how it appears in the bottle which I LOVE because I have ordered color from other lines and it appeared totally different once the polish was applied. That’s totally unlikely with this brand. Also, I’m in awe with the shape of the bottle and how it can be easily stored on my polish shelf! It’s obvious Tami knows her polish… Kudos to her and her new cosmetics line; she has definitely gained another polish addict customer in me! But WAIT... I just found out that the line will be sold in 400 Walgreen stores!!!! That's major... I know out of the 400 stores that it's coming to the "ATL" I just hope it's coming to a Walgreen store near me!

Just Another Manicure Monday... Manicure Makeover!

Happy Monday Loves… Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend!

Did any of you get an opportunity to RELAX, SHOP, or watch Football? Seem like everybody in my circle was either at Target shopping the Philip Lim Collection or watching Football. As for me, I relaxed on Saturday until my daughter had a dying so-called emergency. Then on yesterday I went to church and relax for the remaining of the day.

As of yesterday I did a little “Manicure Makeover” by utilizing these Nail Art Stickers Tattoo. This go round I used the NFL Falcons stickers that I purchased a while back at the “Dollar Store”. Being that the Home Team the Falcons won the game on yesterday against the Rams I decided to support them by applying the nail tattoo to my already manicured nails.

Whelp, they lasted all of 1 hour well maybe 3hrs at the most. I happened to look down at my hands and the stickers tattoo’s had already came off of my nails. I’m not sure at what point they came off but they were off. My experience with these were totally different from the KISS Nail Art Stickers…  

I’m thinking maybe since these are considered Nail Tattoos instead of Stickers that it’s makes a difference.

I guess they were FUN while they lasted… but I’m glad I paid only $1! J

Manicure Monday on Tuesday…

Given the fact that yesterday was LABOR Day I did absolutely “NO LABOR” but I did do a little blog hopping and online shopping with some small business owners. Then afterwards I did a little target practicing at the Shooting Range which I will share later this week on the blog.

With that being said I hope everyone had a LAZY Lovely Labor Day!

 It seems like it’s been forever since I last did a blog post sharing my Manicure.

I find the most challenging part about my manicures is picking the right color. Especially when you have all this staring you right in the face. What is girl supposed to do?

Just getting back in from the Essence Fest in New Orleans

I left the ATL with my “ratchet” nails that needed some desperate attention so upon my arrival in Nawlins I headed straight to the nail shop and got a fresh Mani & Pedi at Angels Nails Spa on Canal St. I’m real picky about sticking my foot in a salon bowl so for me to get a Pedi in New Orleans I had to have been desperate… *Desperate situations requires Desperate measures and this was indeed a 911 situation!

Just Another Manicure Monday... Jawbreakers

Happy Monday Loves… Cheers to another week!

If you are a Mother I hope your Mother’s Day was filled with Happiness, Joy, and Peace!!!! I can say: my Mother’s Day was beyond blessed and I’m completely back from vacation and what FUN I had!

This week manicure was inspired by my blogger buddy Jeimy over at Jeimy's Fashion Love Affair as she posted a pic of her manicure on Instagram (see below) and I was highly inspired.

Goodbye 2012 & HELLO 2013 + Manicure Monday!

Before I end this year with my last official blog post of 2012… I just want to let you all know that I greatly appreciate each and every one of my followers, readers, and lurkers I know that my posts haven’t been as frequent as they were in the beginning. I sort of got distracted and got off track. I also, kind of lost focus of what direction I wanted my blog to go. But at the end of the day… I want to keep my blog grounded and continue to be a lifestyle blogger where I can share my “Life through Style” but I can’t lose focus of Me by doing so! Although, I am NOT PERFECT many of you know I have a HIGH regard for the HIGHEST POWER,  a strong spiritual foundation, and a magnitude of RADICAL FAITH!!!!  

So I’m saying that to say although, I don’t speak on it don’t mean I don’t see it. I have definitely seen the good, the bad, and the UGLY of blogging… And, once the FUN and INSPIRATION is no longer a part of my reason behind me blogging I will have to close my laptop for good!!!! Just know that if I can’t be ME then blogging isn’t for ME! I want to continue to have FUN and continue to inspire others even if it’s just one person… With that being said: I’m not exactly sure what 2013 has to offer me and what’s in store but I AM CLAIMING GREATNESS & I’m going in the New Year with my mind, heart, and eyes WIDE OPEN!!!!

MANICure Monday on Wednesday!

Soooo... the word on the street is I'm HELLA LATE getting my MANICure Monday post up!!!!! 

But WAITTTTT!!!!! I got well enuff reason... I was in the BAHAMAS SHAWTY!!!!! Like for real for real... I planned a scheduled post but it went down hill once I started packing and prepaing for my much needed vacay! 

So, here I am on HuMp Day pumping out a MANICure Monday post. I'm such a good sport... *Pats self on back*

At any rate, I was sooo inspired by Alisha of Coily Locks Christmas nails that I had to give it a try!!!! So, it's literally after MIDNIGHT right now & I find myself doing my nails and low & behold Mini Me want her nails done too. *WHEW*
