Pretty Girls Rock Dresses DRESS CHALLENGE  Mission is:

1. We will ROCK dresses (skirts) and CUTE SHOES (heels and/or flats) like our mothers and grandmothers at least THREE (3) days a week.

2. We will reject the IMPULSE to throw on jeans, jogging suits (EVEN THE CUTE KIND), and dress slacks.

3. We will exchange our revelations and thoughts throughout this challenge.

4. We will invite our friends to join.

5. We will include our daughters and young women we mentor.

6. We will take Pictures and Have FUN!!!!

Just Another MANICure Monday

Happy Monday Loves... I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did!!!! Too bad the weekend don't last long enough. That's exactly WHY I took advantage of my time on yesterday by not getting on ANY social media sites! You would be AMAZED at how much you can actually get done when you pull away from social media; don't get me wrong I LOVE social media & it’s a valuable tool especially for bloggers & small business owners. But sometimes it can drain the life right out of you & suck up soooo much of your time.

When it comes to social media balance is KEY! If you don't have balance... life will pass you right by and that book you said you was going to read or that closet you said you were going to reorganize will NEVER get done! There comes a time when you have to step away from computer, put those smart phones, and iPads to the side so you can do the things you said you would do! Being that it is lent season I've decided... at least one day a week I will give up social media to take care of the things on my to do list & take better control of balancing my LIFE!

Speaking of balance... I kept this week MANI very simple.

I went with Essie Blue Rhapody & topped it with Essie Carnival for a sparkly look!

The Blue Rhapsody is such a thick polish that all it took was (1) one coat however I applied (2) two coats of the Carnival because I wanted the glitter to be applied evenly.

No Flash & W/ Flash

Ultimately, I love how the two colors came together.

Happy Friday Eve; the last day of the month!!!!

Have you ever woke up and felt empowered like you could conquer the WORLD, FACE your worst enemy and still SMILE? Well, today that’s exactly how I’m feeling. I’m in such a happy place in my life right now.

I even overslept this morning but still manage to put my braids up in a HIGH BUN & make my morning drive smiling…

Main thing is I ARRIVED ALIVE!

Pin It Wednesday

Happy HuMp Day… Today I am joining Kita over at Say what u wanna for Pinterest Wednesday. I grabbed the pic’s from Pinterest but didn’t grab the source! *Shrugs*

Anywho, I notice Kita mention in her post that she cleaned up her boards… which that is something that I need to REALLY do as I was a TRUE PINNER HOARDER when I 1^st joined Pinterest. So, I plan to take time and clean up my pinning boards in the next few weeks.

Quote ~ I feel that the word HATE is one of the most overrated words used to day but if we eliminate the word HATE we would have HAPPINESS!

Outfit ~ HA, HA! This outfit makes me laugh every time I see it… Skirts or Shorts, & Ugg Boots! BTW, I have actually worn shorts with Ugg Boots before and I can’t even explain to you WHY! lol

Something Odd ~ My daughter is NOT a cake person. I order her a BIG cookie from the Cookie Company every year for her Birthday. And, being that her Birthday is 2 weeks away I figured I could try to order her some of these cookies using her Instagram pictures. Kool Right???!!!!

St. Patty’s Day ~ I’m not a drinker so a Kid friendly Mocktail is a great way for me & the kiddies to celebrate this GREEN holiday!

I’m such a SUCKA for pictures and pretty things so this was right on point that Kita started Pin it Wednesday so if you are a PINNER join in on the FUN!
