Madea & Monday Mani

This is going to be a really quick post... I'm trying my BESTEST to stay on top of my posts and keep you all updated without sharing all my pics on Instagram prior to me doing a BLOG POST! TRUST, it's sooo hard because Instagram is so much FUN & ADDICTING!!!

At any rate, my girlfriends & I went and saw Madea's Witness Protection last week and let me just tell you if it wasn't for them being there the movie would have been REALLY suckish... I was a little disappointed as the story line was very predictable and it didn't have me LOL the way that I'm use too! I think I may be outgrowing the whole Madea character... I'm not sure just yet - As much as I want to continue to support TP I really need for him to bring it and not leave the audience me hanging for more.  

I felt like: American Next Top Model standing with these two shorties... lol

PLEASE NOTE: I know I mention in a couple posts back that I don't wear shorts but I stand corrected I should have said that I don't wear short shorts!!!!! Because here I am again with YET another pair of shorts on & I have a few rompers that are short as well. I still be kinda tripping over wearing shorts though don't ask me whyyyy... *SHRUGS*

I'm still loving these Jessica Simpson's... these shoes are soooo comfy!!!!!

SFAM, RED Lipstick & Stiletto’s

Well, I had the pleasure of meeting (2) two of my favorite bloggers - SFAM???!!! And, if you don’t know the duo – SLAP yo’self… lol No, seriously just SLAP yo’self!!!! Anyway, (rolling eyes) I met up with Reiko & Juanette this past Saturday at Gladys Knight Chicken & Waffles.

You should have been in my shoes because I got a chance to met two FIERCE & FLY chica's!!!!

I simple LOVE the way they stand apart from the crowd. When I arrived at GKCW I immediately spotted them… Upon meeting them it was almost like I had known them forever… We talked, we hugged, and shared a few laughs all while waiting in line to be seated for the Famous Chicken & Waffles. To congratulate Reiko on her recent nuptials I came bearing gifts… yes, gifts… I couldn’t bring 1 a gift and NOT the other. After all they are SFAM!!!! J

Throughout the laughter I had an EAR injury w/ blood gushing out like on a horror film but we were so engaged in our convo that I didn’t even realize I had blood drippin’ all down the side of my face!!!! ~GROSS~ I know right – you had to be there to understand… I’m STILL trying to understand myself! :-/

It was very short lived on my behalf do to previous obligations that I had so I didn’t get to acually sit down and have Brunch with them. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the short meet & greet. It was a JOY & HONOR to meet the wonderful ladies behind such wonderful blogs.

Green Goblin

Greetings Earthlings… I come in PEACE!!!!! LOL!!!! Seriously, that was my Facebook post the day that I wore this dress (pictured below). Many of you already know my favorite color is PINK but GREEN is not too far behind on my fave list. It's just that for some reason the color GREEN always reminds me of the Green Goblin (Superman… duhhh)!!!! J

The day that I wore this dress it was 82 degrees in HOTLANTA so it was the perfect opportunity as I am trying to get my Summer clothes that didn't get much wear in rotation before the weather completely turns COLD. 

 

There were some REALLY weird things going on while my daughter was taking these pictures: 

·         Two guys in a Oldsmobile kept riding pass us whistling

·         A TRUCK driver asked if we needed help???!!!!

·         Another man drove up and wanted to know who & what we were taking pictures for and even asked for the blog name and business card!!!! So, if you are the guy in the Black Nissan and you are reading this: HELLO!!!!

·         Apparently, we was in “DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE” territory because a gang of DUCKS came & took over

·         Lastly, I stepped in DUCK SH*T!!!!!! #Ewwww….

Fancy Pants at FNO

Wow... it's Tuesday already... Time sure do FLY by when you are having FUN!!!!! My weekend FUN actually all started on last Thursday…

~WARNING: This POST is picture heavy~

Earlier during the day, I went to Andretti with co-workers. We had a catered lunch at the Sky Bar then went Go-Kart Racing (Shhh… I came in last place) & burnt my arm on the motor – Racing is NOT for me, Rock Climbing, Extreme Rope Course, Bowling, Basketball, and Played Video Games (Pac-Man & Galaga are my Fave) – I did get the high score on Galaga!!!!

Considering all the fun that my co-workers were having I actually got a lil light headed and dizzy… I think it all came from eating and then going to play. My body is NOT that same 16 yr old that use to be able to run around and get on Roller Coasters w/o suffering any consequences. With that being said… I had to go home and take a nap before venturing FNO (Fashion Night Out).

Napping only meant… I got a really late start and had NO clue what I was going to wear. I just knew I wanted to be comfortable and my HAIR was all over the place from wearing a helmet and playing earlier that day. So, I had to come up with something extremely quick! I had absolutely NO clue how I was going to survive FNO!!!!

There were plenty of spots in the ATL that were hosting FNO. However, many locations had guest lists and you had to RSVP so with that in mind I remembered the personal invite I received from my girl Crystal the owner of Crystyles Boutique. Running late & w/ my Bestie in tow we took advantage and hit Crystyles Boutique and boy am I glad we did!!!! The crowd was moderate, great food & spirits served, along with outstanding customer service!!!! The Boutique is very inviting and has a host of astounding fashion finds.
