Just Another MANICure Monday!

We are here AGAIN another Monday = Another Manicure!

Before I show my MANI I have to share the news on my $.25 cent nail polish remover pads yes you read that right they were just $.25 cents from Walgreens.

I just knew they wouldn’t work since they were so cheap but guess again they are the BOMB.com + they smell good and leave your cuticle and hands feeling silky smooth!

If you have a Walgreens in your area I suggest you check and see if they have any. I mean REALLY what do have to lose… Now I’m wishing I had got more!

I can’t even front I am STILL rocking the same MANI from days ago… but hey it STILL look good though. I done told y’all about Klean Color nail polish but y’all still sleeping on it! Lol



This color is called: Black Hole



  I promise next week I’m going to use another nail polish brand because Klean Color is going to have to start giving me a check the way I keep promoting them! LOL!!!!

Thrifted Thursday… OOTD!

Can y’all believe that I haven’t been thrifting at all this year… yup, NOT AT ALL!!!! Now that I think about it I actually haven’t been shopping NONE this year. Wow… that’s effin’ awesome. Somebody check my temperature quick! Lol

The most I have purchased this year is nail polish. Hmmm… I know someone is reading this post and saying: Well the year just started… And, you are absolutely RIGHT! But for a person that use to thrift weekly and to be able to go 24 days w/o thrifting is MAJOR!!!!! Especially, since it was not a New Year Resolution nor was it planned. Nevertheless, since I haven’t been shopping I decided to shop my closet today & wear something that I thrifted a few months ago.

Ooooo… Did I mention it is a messy bun type of day!

Too often folks get discourage from friends, family, and/or even social media

Don’t allow folks to rain on your parade

It’s NOT always good to keep your feelings balled up in a bottle. Sometimes we cause more damage for the things we don’t say then the things we do say.

Be mindful to watch your BACK but trust & believe that GOD has your BACK!

Continue to be the BEST you that you can be & let your light shine bright!!!!

Just Another MANICure Monday

Happy Monday Loves…

Ooooo… I’m starting a lil late today but let me just tell ya if you follow me on Instagram then you already know why I’m late. Anywho, I am sooo excited to embark in another day of history as today marks the inauguration of President Obama & MLK Day! It doesn’t get any better than that! So of course I had to do a MANI to show my love and support.

Kingdom Chic… OOTD!

As mention I am back with a follow-up post. I won’t and can’t complain but as my heart would have it I was lead to use this platform to share: If you are going through just remember the battle is not yours it’s the LORD!  

This thing called: LIFE can either make you or destroy you but I was BUILT FOR THIS. I am NOT easily broken and I’m a BORN SURVIVOR!!!!

I understand it takes all types of people to make up the world but just because they are in the world don’t mean that they have to be a part of your world!

There are folks in the world that are quick to judge without even knowing the reason behind a person action, some folks will try and hold your past against you, then there are folks who will try and destroy your character, folks who will hide behind others instead of facing the truth, and then you have certain folks who will forget what you did for them and build their whole foundation on having a motive and won’t support you or anyone else to save their life!

Folks gone talk no matter if you are doing good or bad so whatever you do just be the BEST you that you can be!!!! It don’t matter what MAN/WOMAN says: What matters is what GOD says!!!!  There are folks who have said and done things and even threw a few rocks and stones yet I smile because I know that they didn’t give me this JOY and they can’t take it away. When you get knocked down you don't have to stay down... GET BACK UP!!!!!   

One thing about it… If God has destined you for a position there is NO DEMON IN HELL that can STOP it from happening!!!! Many people are seriously struggling with the ENEMY rather it is on their JOB, MARRIAGE, RELATIONSHIP, FRIENDSHIPS, FINANCES, FAMILY and/or CHILDREN but I tell you to continue to STAND and continue to fight because it’s NOT over until GOD says it’s over.

Even on your worst day someone has it worse than you do so SALUTE & KEEP SMILING!!!!

All HELL broke loose and was left in 2012… It’s a New Year, New Week, New Day and in 2013 there is no room for the ENEMY or association with the ENEMY!!!!

DIRT may be thrown your way but as long as GOD is with you no one can be against you.  No one can walk your walk but you… your steps are already ordered!

Many of you may recall a few posts back when I shared that I wasn’t really sure what direction my blog will be going in and/or if I will continue to blog (here). Well, I have made my final decision and it will follow this post later today.

Just Another MANICure Monday!

Since today is: Just Another MANICure Monday & it’s time for me to get a fill-in… I decided that I would share my latest polish haul with some color swatches. As many of you know I’m a POLISH ADDICT and I just recently indulged in yet another polish haul. Hmmm… DO I NEED HELP???!!!! Nope, I think NOT! HA!

As previously mention Klean Color is my #1 Polish right now mainly because of the price but they seriously have GREAT colors and the POLISH apply smooth with no chips, cracks, and/or peeling and the polish actually dry fast and last so I have absolutely no compliments.

When it's time for a fill-in I do color swatches to help better find the color I want... Please note only 1 coat was applied

Ok, so I told y’all I REALLY don’t have many polishes as folks may think I have. I’m at an E-Z 50 - 60 bottles of nail polish. I’m not sure what my ultimate goal is but Curls and Mo tagged me in the Nail Polish Video Haul and I’m not quite ready for that yet. I wanna step my polish game up just a tidbit more before I do a full polish inventory video. J

BLM Brunch Recap

Happy Fri-yay!!!!

Sooo… let me just tell y’all about this AWESOME Blogging Group called: BLM (Bloggers Like Me) They are some of the most inspirational, smart, classy, influential, and fashionable ladies that I know. On Sunday, I had the pleasure of joining a few of these ladies for Brunch at Mimis Cafe.

We welcomed Chrissy of Beatrice Clay with open arms and the southern hospitality in me came bearing gifts! Yup, I got that from MaDukes… I was taught to ALWAYS greet guest with a GIFT! So, being that this was an Atlanta met up and Chrissy was all the way in the “A” from the BIG APPLE – I had to bring her a lil something something!
