Weekly Style Challenges...OOTD!

As of late… I’ve been participating in all these IG Challenges – The 1st week I participated in the Plaid Challenge & last week I participated in the handbag/clutch challenge both challenges were hosted by vintage style blogger: Finding Her Niche. I like these type of challenges because you don’t realize what you actually have in your closet until a challenge strikes. Well, at least that’s in my case. I’m going to share last week looks 1st as I had so much fun incorporating clutches that I rarely get to carry and instead of utilizing my everyday Michael Kors purse.

All of the looks at a glance. Which is your favorite outfit and/or handbag?

Just in case you haven't noticed... My wardrobe consist of 90% skirts/dresses. Born & Raised in a Southern Baptist Church will leave you with no choice but to LOVE skirts! (I'm TOTALLY not complaining) I absolutely LOVE wearing skirts!!!! I'm such a girly girl!!!

NOTE TO YOU: Do you participate in Style Challenges? Why and/or why not… please share.

  13. I love ALL of your looks!!! So super classy and very stylish! I need that owl sweater, that camo top, those blue booties, and animal print clutch!

I literally have no time to even snap photos in settings outside of my immediate vicinity and to add on a style challenge would leave me coming in last with my pics or missing the deadline all together. Additionally, while I really do like style challenges, a lot of the time I either don't rock the pieces that we are challenged to wear, or I'm not in the mood for the particular item or color/print that's chosen. To me, fashion is truly a reflection of how I'm feeling on any given day. Some days, I'm a rock chic, other days I'm prim and proper, and some days I'm a sexy vixen, etc. And let's say it's a challenge that involves body con....and I have church that evening....girl I can't rock body con at church. The AME church is just as conservative as your southern baptist folk....and I ain't mad at it. Maybe I'm taking it too deep but I still think it's fun to see how everyone else rocks the challenge. Fashion voyerism is my all time favorite past time ;-)
