Mother’s Day Recap & OOTD!

Happy Monday My Loves! I haven’t gotten around to doing my nails for “Manicure Monday” so I’ve decided to share a recap from my Mother’s Day. I know, I know… I’m a lil late but hey I figured it’s better late than never. Then again every day is Mother’s Day if you ask me! ~shrugs~

The Mother’s in my family were brought together and the Men of the family cooked for us and served us! I didn’t get a pic of the food table but I have to hand it to the guys they did good! It also felt good to have the guys take charge in the kitchen and wait on us ladies hand & feet! J

Of course I’m still w/o all my goods (phone, computer, camera & ANYTHING electronic) speaking of which I dropped my iPad and the screen cracked but that’s whole notha post! lol

Mother’s Day… OOTD

I hope everyone had a wonderful and pleasant Mother’s Day!!!! As for me… Just the mere fact of seeing my MOM alive and well made me the happiest child on earth!!!! I couldn’t have ask for more!!!!

As much as I wanted to be LAZY and LAY in bed all day long… The hubs and I took my mom and my mother-N-law to lunch. The ladies wanted Longhorn Steakhouse but unfortunately, there was a 2 hour wait so they settled for Ruby Tuesday. I haven’t been there in a while but I must say: Ruby Tuesday done stepped they came up. The food was DELISH!

It was RAINING cats, dogs, and cows so I had NO CLUE what I was going to wear. I just knew it was a RAIN BOOT kind of a day!

Later on that evening Hubs & I had a wardrobe change and headed out to continue the Mother Day Festivities and for a Surprise B-Day Celebration for my cousin at Aja Restuarant and Bar  (as seen on RHOA)

We were in a reserved Party Room upstairs overlooking the restaurant and this is the view from our room



They served us appetizers throughout the night which were very fulfilling.

Southern Girls ROCK Pearls... OOTD

Ole Happy Day Blog Buddies!!!!! I’m dropping by for a really, really quick post… If you follow me on Twitter then you may have saw that I had a ranting sessions today about folks supporting other folks! For the LIFE of me I just don’t understand WHY people will not support others. But, I won’t even go there on this post! Any who… Everyone knows that I absolutely LOVE PEARLS! (In my Phaedra voice)

 I own soooo many pearls and wanted to see if I could have some fun wearing a few pieces together.

So, I went straight to GOOGLE for my a lil inspiration!

I have lost a few pounds over the since I 1st purchased this out & HATE that bulging BELT LOOK! Uggh... :-/
