WTHuck... Scandal Premier Recap + OOTD!

When Scandal Season 2 premiered blog buddies: Kiwi of Kiwi The Beauty & Bernetta of Bernetta Style hosted a Scandal Premiere Party and since I hadn't had a chance to share the post I figured now would be a great time to do so especially since SCANDAL is getting SOOO SCANDALOUS!!!!

 If you are not familiar with the ABC TV Hit Drama: Scandal then you might want to get from under that ROCK!!!! 

Like literally this is the BEST effin' show on TV right now. 

The show is about Olivia Pope played by Kerry Washington, a former media relations to the President. To sum things up she gets paid to make problems go away... but with everything comes a price and now all the hidden secrets are starting to come out.  

At the premier party we fellowship, ate, and answered a few trivia questions in reference to the show and giveaways were given to the person(s) with the correct answer. 

But once the show started you couldn't hear a pin drop... All eyes were clued to the tube! 

If you are still NOT convinced that this show is the BOMB.com ~ Check out the attached preview. 

       I wanted to be comfortable sooo here's a closer look at what I wore... Pssss: I'm     NOT a model but sometimes I feel like one in my head so I try to convince myself that I'm MODEL MATERIAL!!!! *Just go with it* lol

Talking with Tami Christmas Soiree Recap!

I had the absolute pleasure of attending Talking with Tami Christmas Soiree at Nancy's Pizza in Buckhead last night.

Each guest was asked to bring in a unwrapped toy for the Christmas Toy Drive. I’m ALWAYS for supporting and giving back so why NOT have fun doing it!

Happy to have arrived early... we actually had an honor to meet Martin Luther King III and his lovely daughter. 

As the guest started to arrive they enjoyed ‘Santatini’ cocktails, eating, cami cakes cupcakes, chatting, laughter, dancing, and singed Karaoke… being that I can’t sing I just stuck with the chatting and laughter!!!! Oh, and there were GREAT giveaways too but I didn't WIN!!!! *tear* lol

I decided to wear this vintage top that I purchased from Portia of Thoughts of a Serial Thinker as she is the owner and operator of PJ MacCarly. She’s a Blogger & Business Woman that is definitely on a mission to SUCCEED!  

I initially wanted to pair the top with some shorts and tights but when I put it on the hubby said: NO… I need to wear them shorts when I am with him. LOL! So being the GOOD WIFE that I am ~ I changed into my black skinnies.

I also tried to mix some lipstick that my daughter had to create a vampish lip action 

Ooooo… I think I may have been feeling myself... let me have my moment! Lol

Just Another MANICure Monday

Heyyyy… hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!! Once again my weekend was on full BLAST!!!! So, come last night I was rushing trying to think of a Mani/Color I wanted for Manicure Monday & couldn't decide what I wanted. 

While I was going through nail inspiration pics and polish my daughter asked me to do her nails so I'm switching yup this week MANICure Monday and showing you guys my daughter MANI done by me. 

These are the colors she picked... A VARIETY of names/color

Just Another MANICure Monday

Howdy Folks… I’m a little late linking up today as I have had a FULL weekend & to top it off the enemy tried to attack me!!!! But I REFUSE to let the enemy destroy me & my spirit so nice try but the enemy gotta come betta than that.

I’m just thankful that Mimi over at Lipgloss and Binky is the host of MANICure Monday this week cause lawd knowsss I would've left y'all hanging & waiting. lol Anywho, I wanted to try GRAY nail polish and it dawn on me that I don’t even own a GRAY nail polish (don’t judge me)  so I guess I better add GRAY to my list of colors to buy. However, I had this old stash of OPI Silver that was ‘bout dried out… but I had to opt for Silver instead of GRAY (besides it’s the next best thing to GRAY).

I started to just let them be w/o any design but then I said nahhhh…

So I added a lil glitter and a +CROSS+ because I know my daddy (The Most High God) got my back no matter what I may face. 

So, as I look down at my nails the GRAY represent the enemy trying to attack but God light (the glitter) is shining through and the +CROSS+ is for the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. As I know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

I may have went a lil deep with this post but without GOD I am NOTHING!!!! And, if you have been following me for a while then you are already aware that my FAITH comes before FASHION any given day of the week!
