Just Another MANICure Monday... Super Bowl Inspired!

Happy Monday!!!! I know I haven't been blogging as much as of late and I REALLY don't have an excuse other than the fact that I'm LAZY, A PROCRASTINATOR, and well, I'm about that MICROWAVE life so I've been cheating on the blogosphere with Instagram. BUT WAIT!!!! Before y'all give up on lil ole me... I promise to do BETTER!!!! If you don't believe me... just watch & see. (Tehehehehe) 

Okay, so was I the only one SUPER excited about the SUPER BOWL???!!! Well, actually the EXCITEMENT died after like 30minutes o watching the game. It was hard to watch I mean REALLY???!!!! Well, anyone that's a BRONCOS FAN understands my pain. I won't bore y'all with all the details but I will be sharing pictures from our Super Bowl party in a later post but for now let me just show y'all my nails that I need to hurry up and change the polish on. lol 

My nails exemplify just how amped up I was about the SUPER BOWL.

Just Another MANICure Monday… OPI & Essie!

Happy Monday… I’m feeling good and feeling GREAT! I hope everyone had a wonderfully blessed “Thanksgiving” as I did. There are just sooo many things that I am “thankful” for that I don’t even have enough blog space to share. Just know that that for the most part I am truly thankful for the air that I breathe and that I’m alive and well to share with Family, Friends, and of course my blog world! Without you guys my blog could not be successful and I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to READ or even just click on my blog to see what’s happening with me. Just to know that I was though of means a lot!  

Alright, Alright, Alright… before I get all mushy mushy let me also share that I am “thankful” and super excited to have

re-launched my online LA Lynn’s “Faith and Fashion” Store. For those who have been following, reading, speculating, and truly know me know that this is where my true passion is… Everything I do I try and do it for the Kingdom w/o being too “churchy” Ugh…. (Church Folks) lol No seriously, I love spreading the word while enhancing your wardrobe.  

It actually felt good re-launching the store and having ground breaking $ALES. I’m so grateful for everyone that has shopped and for those who plan on shopping my store. Just Another Manicure Monday

Whew… I’m FINALLY able to post!!!! I have tried posting for the last 2 hours and BLOGGER has been tripping! *Literally*

OAN: I REALLY gotta get back in the swing of things around these parts. I have been vacationing my lil heart out. We went to Cancun, Mexico last week and had an absolute ball. The weather over there was gorgeous.

So, I actually didn’t get the opportunity to do my nails so I will share my latest Mani that I had prior to leaving for my trip. Donna of Brown Girl Next Door hosted a Pamper & Polish Tweet-up and I had the pleasure of getting my polish change. My BIGGEST challenge when doing my nails or getting them done is selecting the color polish.

I opted for a “springy” color being that I knew I was headed to Mexico to enjoy the beach life & the fact that it was 80 degrees over there I wanted something bright to match.

Check out the smile on my FACE… It’s always an honor to be able to sit back and allow someone else to do your manicure. J

Just Another MANICure Monday

Heyyyy… hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!! Once again my weekend was on full BLAST!!!! So, come last night I was rushing trying to think of a Mani/Color I wanted for Manicure Monday & couldn't decide what I wanted. 

While I was going through nail inspiration pics and polish my daughter asked me to do her nails so I'm switching yup this week MANICure Monday and showing you guys my daughter MANI done by me.

Just Another MANICure Monday

Howdy Folks… I’m a little late linking up today as I have had a FULL weekend & to top it off the enemy tried to attack me!!!! But I REFUSE to let the enemy destroy me & my spirit so nice try but the enemy gotta come betta than that.

I’m just thankful that Mimi over at Lipgloss and Binky is the host of MANICure Monday this week cause lawd knowsss I would've left y'all hanging & waiting. lol Anywho, I wanted to try GRAY nail polish and it dawn on me that I don’t even own a GRAY nail polish (don’t judge me)  so I guess I better add GRAY to my list of colors to buy. However, I had this old stash of OPI Silver that was ‘bout dried out… but I had to opt for Silver instead of GRAY (besides it’s the next best thing to GRAY).

I started to just let them be w/o any design but then I said nahhhh…

So I added a lil glitter and a +CROSS+ because I know my daddy (The Most High God) got my back no matter what I may face. 

So, as I look down at my nails the GRAY represent the enemy trying to attack but God light (the glitter) is shining through and the +CROSS+ is for the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. As I know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

I may have went a lil deep with this post but without GOD I am NOTHING!!!! And, if you have been following me for a while then you are already aware that my FAITH comes before FASHION any given day of the week!

Just another MANICure Monday + Polish Swap

I hope everyone had an AWESOME Thanksgiving & weekend and were able to spend quality time with your love ones. As for me... I thoroughly enjoyed my Holiday and will be posting pics later this week to share with you guys. 

Well, we all know that it's time for Just another MANICure Monday and this week I'm co-hosting the linky which is pretty darn FAB as I also will be linking this post with Carly of Lipgloss and Crayons as I participated in her Polish Swap and Conolley over at Third Grade Rockstar was my Polish Swap Partner and she sent me over these lovely OPI nail polishes.

I was really excited to see these beauties in my mailbox as I do not own either color and I have never used Shatter Nail Polish before so I was super hyped and couldn't wait to try these colors out!  

 I kind of got a late start this evening and sort of cheated... I polished on top of my TURKEY nail color ---> seen here

This was a REALLY rush job so excuse the mess... but the pressure be on to try and get something KOOL to come up with especially by being the co-host!!!! *side eye* 

The shatter may take some getting use to but I'm absolutely LOVING the cobalt blue!!!! 

Thanks again Conolley for the cool colors... I will be putting these colors in rotation!!!!

Just another MANICure Monday!

Ok, seriously can y'all actually believe that the year is almost over & this Thursday is Thanksgiving! Yassss... TURKEY DAY is just a few days away! 

Speaking of TURKEY DAY my nails this week were supposed to be inspired by just that as mention on my Instagram in the attached photo. Also, this week Mimi of Lipgloss and Binky is hosting the linky so please be sure to show off your MANI by linking up!   

Ok, so in last week MANICure Monday post I mention that I needed a fill-in being that I have acrylic on top of my real nails. So whenever it's fill-in time I try and get more detail nail-art done by the professionals... Just let me say: I didn't go to my regular nail spa and went to another spot where I walked in with my nail polishes in hand and my inspired pic via Pinterest (upper left pic) thinking I would get just what I asked for! Hmmm... NO!  

 This is absolutely NOTHING like the pic... he finally told me that he didn't know how to make my nails look like the pic. Andddd to top it off... where did the WHITE  come in at???!!!! WTW???? He basically just did what he wanted to do! I could have easily did this myself. At any rate, after I told him how unsatisfied I was he agreed to give me a discount for the inconvenience. Yup, my nails are looking something like a TURKEY alright! *A JIVE TURKEY* lol

Just Another MANICure MONDAY

Happy Mondayyyy... hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Well, as you already know today marks: Just Another MANICure Monday. This week Mimi of Lipgloss and Binky is hosting the linky so please be sure to show off your MANI by linking up! 

Colors of Choice: OPI White, OPI Blue: Blue my mind & OPI Red: Color so hot it berns

I wasn't sure what colors I would go with this week but since this week is the FINAL week for the Presidential Election and tomorrow marks the last day for voting I figured I would be PATRIOTIC with my nails. 

Ok, after I loaded the pictures I notice my hands were a lil ASHY!!! Sorry... lol

I will gladly do a step-by-step tutorial on the stripes and dots if needed. 

SN: All you need is nail tape for the stripes and a Q-tip for the dots.

Also, if you are wondering... these are my nails but I do have acrylic on top of my real nails to keep from breakage. I go and get the acrylic re-applied once a month in between time I do my polish changes. ^_^
