Wordless Wednesday... Shamrock Brunch

No, I’m not Irish but in the name of FUN my daughter & I had a SHAMROCK Brunch this pass Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day)

Some of you may have already had the pleasure of seeing the above pic on my Instagram and/or Facebook page so I decided to record it on the blog and share it here as well!

I had to keep adding more & more food coloring to get it to this color GREEN; which is still not the actual GREEN I was going for.

It only took 15mins to make this meal; We also had scrambled eggs and bacon to complete our brunch!

Just Another Manicure Monday

Another Week; Another Mani… I was contacted to do a review on 2 Sisters Cosmetics Nail Polishes and with JOY I excitedly agreed because ANYTIME somebody say: “Nail Polish” I’m on board!

 I received three (3) polishes securely packaged but little did I know I was receiving magic in a bottle!  

I was highly impressed with the bottles and the colors as I received as pictured (l to R): Try Me, Fantasy and Ready or Knot

Additionally, there is blood flow right under the nail beds which means a direct pathway for chemicals to travel into our bloodstream. Go to Dress… OOTD!

Ok, so shoot me I didn’t get a chance to link up for Manicure Monday! I’ve been so busy planning & preparing for so much that is happening around these parts that the days are just FLYING by! But I do plan on linking up before the week is out so if you haven’t link up yet either don’t forget the linky party this week is being held over on Mimi Blog: Lipgloss & Binky.

Real quick though… I wanted to stop to share my “Go to Dress”. (Nothing Special) But every female has that dress that’s been in the closet for years. It don’t have to be the cutest or the flyest dress in your closet but for some strange reason you just REFUSE to get rid of it. It could be the comfort, price, or you just may be simply attached to it for whatever reason so you keep it around.

Whelp, that’s exactly my thoughts on this dress. It definitely came in handy on yesterday as I woke up late & it was pouring down raining!!!! No ironing, no preparation, no nothing…

Viola >>> GO TO DRESS it is!!!!  

It was raining so badddd outside that I had to take pics inside my friend house. But peep this I creeped a few pics while in a public restroom. Don’t Judge Me! HA! *I promised I washed my hands*

Boots: Gifted via hubby
Accessories: LA Lynn's

All I remember about this dress is I purchased it at Macy’s on the clearance rack a few years ago and it probably has shrunk a bit over the years… but it still has it comfort & I NEVER have to iron it so I keep it around for days like yesterday! J

P.S. Please be patience with me as I’m still w/o a computer so camera phone pics is what you will get until I can get a hold of my PC guy. ~wink

Thankful Thrifted Thursday… OOTD!

This is going to be a REALLY quick post as I am headed out with my girls…

1^st off let me just say: You can meet some of the most amazing folks on social media networks as I virtually met Shoemisses via Instagram. She started following me and I took a liking to her pictures and found her pics to be interesting so I started following her back as she has a niche for thrifting as I do. She thrifted this skirt I’m wearing (for yourself) but once she got home she realized she already had the exact same skirt at home. We virtually communicated about the skirt then she sent me an email to follow-up and she was kind enough to ship the skirt to me and to my SURPRISE she put another skirt in the package! And, peep this she didn’t even charge anything for the skirt(s). I just paid a little of nothing for shipping so you can pretty much say the skirt was FREE! J
