Ok, seriously can y'all actually believe that the year is almost over & this Thursday is Thanksgiving! Yassss... TURKEY DAY is just a few days away!
Speaking of TURKEY DAY my nails this week were supposed to be inspired by just that as mention on my Instagram in the attached photo. Also, this week Mimi of Lipgloss and Binky is hosting the linky so please be sure to show off your MANI by linking up!
Ok, so in last week MANICure Monday post I mention that I needed a fill-in being that I have acrylic on top of my real nails. So whenever it's fill-in time I try and get more detail nail-art done by the professionals... Just let me say: I didn't go to my regular nail spa and went to another spot where I walked in with my nail polishes in hand and my inspired pic via Pinterest (upper left pic) thinking I would get just what I asked for! Hmmm... NO!
This is absolutely NOTHING like the pic... he finally told me that he didn't know how to make my nails look like the pic. Andddd to top it off... where did the WHITE come in at???!!!! WTW???? He basically just did what he wanted to do! I could have easily did this myself. At any rate, after I told him how unsatisfied I was he agreed to give me a discount for the inconvenience. Yup, my nails are looking something like a TURKEY alright! *A JIVE TURKEY* lol

ReplyDeleteListen!!! That has happened to me more times than I can count! So glad my daughter starting doing nail art and I could leave the salons alone (then she left me and moved back to NY for school... but I digress). Nevertheless, I love the color!

LOL, this story is classic. They always OFFER a design then give you a five dot flower or a few swoops with the brush. SMH! He could've at least told you in advance he couldn't do it. But I do like the orange!
