These were only $1.50 & I have no clue how I am going to style these... Any suggestions???!!!

Skirt - $3.00 - I have already worn this & it will be featured in a upcoming post

Wordless Wednesday... Weave vs Wigs!!!!

I’m not a “Wiggy” type of female but I do LOVE to switch my hairstyles quite often…

Help me decide should I go with a weave or a wig? Which hairstyle do you think would l@@k great on me via Wig Style???

My Easter Outfit... OOTD

I made it home just in time to post about my EASTER Celebration!!!! 1st off let me just say: it was FAM-U-LOUS!!!!! Yup, that's my made up word... meaning it was filled with FAMily & FABulousness. I literally seen family members today that I hadn't seen in years and a few that I had never even met before!!!! I mean really... my daughters have cousins that are the same age as they are and what if they grow up to fall madly in LOVE with their own cousin just because they didn't know that they were any KIN to one another! (GROSS, just thinking about it)

At any rate, the thought of that just grosses me out TOTALLY! so, let me just say I saw all types of EASTER/Sunday BEST outfits today. I wanted to take pics of bystanders and church goers but the hubs wasn't feeling that! LOL! he gets mad when I go pulling out the CAMERA... what is that about???!!! *SHRUGS*

Anyway, I didn't realize folks still got dressed up for EASTER but they REALLY do! I saw FOLKS CLEANER than the BOARD of HEALTH!!!! I mean they were CASKET SHARP!!!! As for me, I wore a everyday dress... I'm sure y'all saw a few folks rocking PASTEL COLORS & FLOWERS! (as I did) lol

 Sorry, about the quality of the pictures... the lighting in our house is NOT that great so I creeped a bathroom pic in. Speaking of bathroom - Hubs has done it again!!!! We typically exchange EASTER GIFTS among each other and this year: He GIFTED me with a TV on the bathroom wall. He said he wanted me to enjoy a RELAXING BUBBLE BATH while watching TV! Hmmm... I secretly think this TV was installed for his usage! But THANKS ANYWAY BABE!!!!! *LOVE YA*

Polka Dot & Gray… OOTD

Just dropping in for quick post… hope everyone is having a Wonderful Week thus far. As for me I’m SUPA EXCITED that ANDROID FINALLY got Instagram!!!! Whoop, Whoop!

I see y’all iPhone users rolling yo’ eyes… Seriously though, if you could have seen those tweets… folks were actually MAD. You would have thought the phone God’s doomed them to go to HELL the way they were clowning… I mean REALLY is it that serious???!!! It’s just an APP!!!! LOL!!!!

I figure they’ll come out with another app in another month or so and everybody will be jumping on board for the next app in no time. Folks need to get their panties/boxers out their AZZ and WO-MAN UP because ANDROID got it! #GAMEOVER

 Besides, y’all know I LIVE/LOVE MY ANDROID!  

On to the next… My OOTD: I wore a Polka Dot shirt with my pencil gray skirt that you guys have seen before with my gray booties that I rarely ever get to wear.

So, how about somebody told me I looked like a school teacher when I wore this outfit. Hmmm… what exactly was that supposed to mean????!!!! 

S/O to all the school teachers out there because I feel like you all have got to have the hardest JOB next to parenting! Thank you for Educating our Youth!!!!

Note To You: Don’t sweat the small stuff like phone apps and stuff like that; Yes, it’s great to have but it’s ALL MATERIAL stuff and can be taking away with a BLINK of an EYE! There are folks out there with much BIGGER problems and issues. If you don’t believe me take a ride through downtown ATL & look under the bridges or simply turn on your TV & look at the Tornado that took place in Dallas… My thoughts and prayers goes out to the entire community & city!!!!

Karaoke… OOTN

Wow… I can’t believe we are ALREADY in the month of April!!!! That mean the 1^st quarter of the year is over. Did you all stick to your New Year Resolutions or yearly goals???!!! 

         

I can honestly say that I can PAT myself on the back because I have stayed focus with my yearly goals. However, I did promise to treat myself to a monthly “SPA DAY” and I have yet to do so. I tell myself that I am too busy and don’t have time. But starting this month… I will make time; I can NEVER be too busy for SELF!  Same goes for you… if there is something that you said that you would do; JUST DO IT! (In my Nike commercial voice)

If you follow me on twitter then you may already know that I went to Karaoke Night on last Thursday. I was joined by the Bestie and although, we didn’t venture up on the stage to perform… we were VERY entertained!

A Message & The Mall

I know y’all can be doing other SH*T right now but I don't want you all to just l@@k at the pictures please take the time to read the post.

*Clears Throat* I wanted to remind folks that I'm NOT a Photographer. Truth be told most of my pictures are taken with my Android phone OR my daughters iPhone. Clearly, to keep from looking like a tourist or paparazzi I only pull out the Nikon when planned...

 

Now that I have cleared that up... I really wanted to touch on the FACT that I’m NOT a Fashion Expert nor am I your typical Fashion Blogger. I am a self-proclaimed "Lifestyle Blogger"… And, just in case you ignored my blog header I wanted to reiterate that I blog about LIFE (MY LIFE) REAL EVENTS... You will find almost ANY & EVERYTHING from Faith, Fashion, Family, Friends, Food, & Fun on my blog. In between this thing called LIFE: I just happen to LOVE fashion and I think it’s fun to share OOTD, Fashion Finds, and Pretty Pic’s. Fashion just happens to play a major part in my LIFE!

I know a lot of you probably got the GAS FACE!!!! (confused look) but I felt the need to share the above statement because I have seen a few of my blog buddies post pictures on certain site(s) and folks judge them without even knowing them, their blogs, nor do they try and take the opportunity to get to know the person. Either way you can NEVER really know a person by looking at 5 or 6 pictures of them. I highly understand that people will draw conclusions and have their own opinions and I respect that. But some folks can just be so negative, mean, and evil for no reason at all!!!! Here it is today, we are dealing with enough hatred as it is and to have folks in the (quote un quote) fashion/style community to speak negative about someone is beneath me. Why can’t folks just be happy for others when the SPOTLIGHT is SHINING???!!! Everything ain’t for Everybody and Everybody is NOT going to have the same taste when it comes to FASHION…

Just because its name brand don’t mean it looks good! A person fashion sense is based on their individual style. My STYLE may not be your STYLE and vice versa but that’s why it’s called… “MY STYLE” That’s one reason why I would much rather read a blog than a magazine. I get to see REAL LIFE folks doing REAL LIFE SH*T!

Now, to my actual post: Most of you know that lightning struck our home a couple of weeks ago and we were without POWER in our downstairs area. Well, we are back up and operating. *YAYYYY*

Before getting things back in order you know that meant another trip to the Mall My trips to the Mall are always FUN because I never know what I'm going to see.

Welp, I sure as heck ain't PREGGO! *that was not a slap in the face to any Mother bearing child(ren)* but those days are over for me. My daugthers are 19 & 14 - I'm GOOD! But I have a friend who just had a baby and I went to Spencer's to get a Gag gift and stumbled upon several! Spencer's never seems to disappoint if you are looking for cool gadgets or gag gifts that's the place to go!
