Thrifted Thursday… OOTD!

Can y’all believe that I haven’t been thrifting at all this year… yup, NOT AT ALL!!!! Now that I think about it I actually haven’t been shopping NONE this year. Wow… that’s effin’ awesome. Somebody check my temperature quick! Lol
The most I have purchased this year is nail polish. Hmmm… I know someone is reading this post and saying: Well the year just started… And, you are absolutely RIGHT! But for a person that use to thrift weekly and to be able to go 24 days w/o thrifting is MAJOR!!!!! Especially, since it was not a New Year Resolution nor was it planned. Nevertheless, since I haven’t been shopping I decided to shop my closet today & wear something that I thrifted a few months ago.

Ooooo… Did I mention it is a messy bun type of day!


Too often folks get discourage from friends, family, and/or even social media

Don’t allow folks to rain on your parade


It’s NOT always good to keep your feelings balled up in a bottle. Sometimes we cause more damage for the things we don’t say then the things we do say.


Be mindful to watch your BACK but trust & believe that GOD has your BACK!

Continue to be the BEST you that you can be & let your light shine bright!!!!

Your path was destined & no one can walk in your shoes but you!

    I have only been to the thrift store twice this year! That's crazy for me too because I used to go weekly. I need to get back focused on my shop etc...but online shopping whew chil, thats a whole notha story, lol!

    The only shopping I've done this year was for for groceries last week. I'm planning on doing a little thrifting tomorrow though. I want to find a really cool vintage velvet blazer and some statement necklaces. Love the outfit, especially the boots!

      I haven't even done much grocery shopping either... *shrugs* I'm not sure if you saw my velvt blazer but I scored it from the thrift store and I love it!

    I haven't thrifted since last year and my last trip was not successful at all so I haven't had the urge to really go back. I need to go because there are some items I want add to my wardrobe that I think I can find thrifting so I won't have to pay full price for.

      Awe, thanks Carsedra! Well, you know I wasn't really BIG on thrifting at 1st it just sort of happen for me. But once you get the hang of it it can be addicting! lol

    So cute!!! I am loving that skirt! Please send it to me when you get tired of it! I havent been shopping for the new year either and for someone who used to shop every week its such a big deal! One of my new years resolutions is to cut down my shopping.

    Miss Lynn, you look stunning and I love this entire outfit. Am a huge fan of the messy bun, I don't like to do mine perfect at all, unless it is a special event. Well more formal. Love the pearls and the skirt is amazing!

    Love this!!!! So classic and the print on your skirt is stellar! I have gone thristing only once this year, well it's the only time I've shopped for anything for the wardrobe. But I did run across the remnants of a garage sale that had eveything put out to the road as free, so I shopped that and majorly scored!!!

    I haven't been thrifting either. I went a few times and didn't find anything, so I decided to wait until everyone decided to clean out their closet and donate. Went a few days ago and found some great things. The addiction is back on.
