Weekly Style Challenges...OOTD!

As of late… I’ve been participating in all these IG Challenges – The 1st week I participated in the Plaid Challenge & last week I participated in the handbag/clutch challenge both challenges were hosted by vintage style blogger: Finding Her Niche. I like these type of challenges because you don’t realize what you actually have in your closet until a challenge strikes. Well, at least that’s in my case. I’m going to share last week looks 1st as I had so much fun incorporating clutches that I rarely get to carry and instead of utilizing my everyday Michael Kors purse.

If you read my blog on a regular or follow me on Instagram then you already know that this past Saturday I teamed up with my BFF's ~ Blog Fab Fashionistas & participated in the 6th annual Sickle Cell Celebrity Bowl-a-Thon!

The Bowl-a-Thon was held at the Suburban Lanes Bowling Center in Decatur, GA and was hosted by comedian Rodney Perry.

Funny Man Rodney Perry & I
Of course, our team was called: Spoiled Diva named after BFF Cha'kiva ~ Blog/Business name as she was the official Sponsor of this event and presented this great opportunity for us to partake in.

We meet up at Fashion Style Boutique to get our Spoiled Diva Tees, Signature Earrings & we all were glam'd by Make-Up Artist Mimi. Once all the ladies were dolled up... we were in route to the bowling alley.

Immediately upon arrival I notice the RED CARPET with the BANNER backdrop that listed all of the sponsor names. Just to see my logo and the BFF's logo's listed with some of the BIG WIGS of the evening made me smile!

A Close look at my LOGO! >insert smilie face<

Of course, we took a few pics, ate, chatted and then the GAMES BEGUN!

BTW, we did recruit Joey Beanz of "Rude Boys" as an addition to our team. He was a great sport and FULL of energy... He was our "Spoiled Don". lol (BTW, he is hilarious)

Sassy City Chicks... RECAP!

Hope that everyone weekend was wonderful. I wanted to share an event that I attended a few weeks ago. Thanks to Oh Nikka… I won tickets to attend the Sassy City Chicks Fashion Bash Sample Show.

The Bestie & I went together and I meet a few more friends and blog buddies there!

The event was held at the Ambient Plus Studio in Atlanta from 5 pm - 10 pm. We arrived around 6:30 ish and the parking lot was already was fairly packed. I spotted a few blog buddies leaving as we were arriving. For instance I spotted Oh Nikka on the outside and had to wave to her from the car as I noticed she was leaving… which was a BUMMER because I didn’t get a chance to get a picture with her.

Although, I have been a vendor at the Ambient Studio before this was my 1st time attending Sassy City Chicks. I noticed that it was pretty much set–up the same as it is with all events that are held there. Once you walk up the stairs you are greeted and asked to sign in, then given a cute PINK little Sassy tote bag filled with goodies.

I have never purchased anything from JewelMint now I have every reason too!

More goodies from PINK Bag!

We also got a free sample bag from Miss Jessie's

Once inside the bestie and I immediately started venturing out to the different vendor tables… there was a DJ and as long as you got the right vibe of music the atmosphere is set just right!

In the mist of shopping I spotted a few blog buddies and snagged a few photo’s.

There were plenty of vendors/services but here are some of my FAVORITES that were there:

Pink Chocolate
Othea’s Accessories

There was also complimentary make-overs and spa services that I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of because the wait/line was long.

They also had a bar set-up and was giving away free cocktails… but as a non-drinker I indulged in H2O!
Which was just as refreshing… J

I saw so many things that I wanted to purchase but ran into the issue where it was either too small or I just wasn’t married to it! But I did end up purchasing my Jumpsuit that I wore on Memorial Day from the Funky Flair Boutique. Kesha is a charm please be sure to support her.

BIG shout out to Oh Nikka & Sassy City Chicks, for a very eventful afternoon as I truly enjoyed it.

What I wore
Color block dress ~ Gifted
Tribal Sandals ~ Isis Boutique
Clutch ~ Gifted (old)
Accessories ~ LA Lynn's

I’m Linking up with Glamamom Momtrends , and Bon Bon Rose Girls  for Monday Mingle!

Last but not least I'm not sure if you all heard that Robin Roberts, an anchor on ABC's "Good Morning America" program who beat breast cancer five years ago, said on Monday she has myelodysplastic syndrome, a blood disorder triggered by her cancer treatments but she is in my thoughts and prayers!!!!

NOTE TO YOU: Always wear comfortable shoes at shopping events… there is a lot of walking and standing. Although, my shoes were extremely comfortable we had to park on gravel so that made walking difficult and uneasy which cause me to almost twist my ankle and break the strap on my tribal sandals. However, I got the sandals fixed but that could have been $6 saved or even paid for my lunch.

~Until next time
