Trendy Tuesday: I Love Thrifting Atlanta 2012 Recap

I know I'm a few post behind but it would be remiss if I didn't share this post! I Love Thrifting Day was a huge success!!!!! I attended last year and again this year. 

However, I must say it gets BIGGER and BETTER each year! I have NEVER been much of a thrifter but it's fun and exciting because it's like a treasure hunt. You just never know what you will find when thrifting!

Trendy Tuesday... Jumper ~ OOTD!

I have been indulging in Popcorn, Nacho's, Goobers, and Icee's... Yup, you guessed it! Hubby & I go to the movies on average 1 or 2 times a week. We are both movie goers that it doesn't help that we have a $1 Movie Theater in our backdoor.

 This go round we went to see The Amazing Spider-man and it was surprisly AMAZING! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was action packed and very entertaining. I'm a HUGE fan of Comic Books, Marvel, Super Hero's, Cartoons or anything of that nature... So, once I found out Tobey Maguire was not playing Peter Parker I was a little skeptical of the new kid playing SPIDEY! But I must admit the new kid:  Andrew Garfield played his part very well and live up to SPIDER-MAN REP!

 I always try to be super comfy when I go to the movies so I decided to wear this jumper that I purchased from Corie . I was REALLY excited when I ordered the jumper being that it was only $10!!!! I will be shopping her closet again because did I mention that her customer service & fast delivery was A+

 When trying to get the Hubby to take my pics it's like pulling teeth so here goes...

Yup, that's a THUMB you see at the bottom left... SMH!

Madea & Monday Mani

This is going to be a really quick post... I'm trying my BESTEST to stay on top of my posts and keep you all updated without sharing all my pics on Instagram prior to me doing a BLOG POST! TRUST, it's sooo hard because Instagram is so much FUN & ADDICTING!!!

At any rate, my girlfriends & I went and saw Madea's Witness Protection last week and let me just tell you if it wasn't for them being there the movie would have been REALLY suckish... I was a little disappointed as the story line was very predictable and it didn't have me LOL the way that I'm use too! I think I may be outgrowing the whole Madea character... I'm not sure just yet - As much as I want to continue to support TP I really need for him to bring it and not leave the audience me hanging for more.  

I felt like: American Next Top Model standing with these two shorties... lol

PLEASE NOTE: I know I mention in a couple posts back that I don't wear shorts but I stand corrected I should have said that I don't wear short shorts!!!!! Because here I am again with YET another pair of shorts on & I have a few rompers that are short as well. I still be kinda tripping over wearing shorts though don't ask me whyyyy... *SHRUGS*

I'm still loving these Jessica Simpson's... these shoes are soooo comfy!!!!!

4th of July Recap... OOTD!

Happy Sunday Blog Buddies... I wanted to share a really quick post about my non eventful 4th of July celebration. 

If you follow me on Instagram I'm sure you have already saw the outfit but I like to keep an online style diary as well. Therefore, I'm posted them on my blog; hope you all don't mind. :-)

Anyway, so the Hubs & I stayed in bed until about 3 ish then we decided to get dressed and go grab a bite to EAT! We didn't have any invites to any cook-outs... we are thinking maybe because the 4th fell in the middle of the week. But we still had a desire to get some BBQ. The closest spot and our FAVORITE spot is BIG DADDY'S but to our surprise they were CLOSED! So, Hubs suggested Golden Corral (again)... Uggh! My BIGGEST threat about going to Golden Corral was that some lil kid would put their lil sticky icky hands on my Pearlie White Dress!!!! :-/

PLEASE NOTE: It was a MAJOR STRUGGLE to get my NATURALLY NAPPY hair up in this BUN! Can you say... BROWN GEL, HAIR FOOD, & WATER is my friend!

 PLEASE NOTE: This ROCK was HOT AS HELL!!!! The things BLOGGERS DO!!!! HA!!!!

Note to You: Doing NOTHING with the one you LOVE creates SOMETHING... When was the last time you did NOTHING and ended up with a NIGHT of FIREWORKS???

Trendy Tuesday… Shorts & Bows

Tomorrow is an Holiday so I know you all are either cooking or cleaning...  getting ready for house guest or getting ready to be someone’s house guest! So, I’m going to try and make this post quick cause I know you all are BUSY!!!! *Giggles*

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of meeting up with some of my High School Alumni buddies

We dined at Pappadeaux which is always at the top of my eatery list as they never seem to disappoint!

Although, the time was short lived it’s always good to catch-up and laugh in between the chatter. We are already talking about when we are going to meet up again.

It took a lot of LA-CONFIDENCE for me to wear these shorts... I'm totally not a "shorts" person. 

Is there and age limit to wearing shorts????!!!! 

I wanted to wear Spikes since the shoes had a spikey look to them

 It was HOT AZZ FISH GREASE!!!!! ATL temps were like 105!!!!

The shoes were very comfortable

Only paid $30 for the shoes... they were on $ALE & I had some Kohl's Cash!
