Loving Lately... CAP TOE Shoes

 

Today, I'm linking up with Lipgloss and Crayons for lovely lately but before I go into my actual post I want to say (2) two words:

Ok, now that I’ve gotten my political stand point out of the way… I want to share what I’m loving lately which would have to be the CAP TOE shoes… No matter if they are flats, pumps, or boots the CAP TOE shoes are MUST HAVES & sooo NECESSARY!!!!

Solange Knowles rocking them at an event.

Just Another MANICure MONDAY

Happy Mondayyyy... hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Well, as you already know today marks: Just Another MANICure Monday. This week Mimi of Lipgloss and Binky is hosting the linky so please be sure to show off your MANI by linking up! 

Colors of Choice: OPI White, OPI Blue: Blue my mind & OPI Red: Color so hot it berns

I wasn't sure what colors I would go with this week but since this week is the FINAL week for the Presidential Election and tomorrow marks the last day for voting I figured I would be PATRIOTIC with my nails. 

Ok, after I loaded the pictures I notice my hands were a lil ASHY!!! Sorry... lol

I will gladly do a step-by-step tutorial on the stripes and dots if needed. 

SN: All you need is nail tape for the stripes and a Q-tip for the dots.

Also, if you are wondering... these are my nails but I do have acrylic on top of my real nails to keep from breakage. I go and get the acrylic re-applied once a month in between time I do my polish changes. ^_^

Happy Bless BORN Day Sister...

  Heyyyy... My Folks, My Bestie, My Sister Mari of Beyond Greatness is another year blessed today!!!! Sooo... I wanted to do a special "Birthday Blog Post" recognizing her as the LA-MAZING woman that she is!!!! 

We have been friends for 27+ years or maybe longer but aaaayyyyeee... who's counting anyway! When you have that many years under your belt you no longer count the years; you count the blessings!!!!

Back Down Memory Lane

Just like TWINS... you always have a quiet one and then the LOUD one... YUP, you guessed it I'm the LOUD ONE!!!! LOL!!!! 

But for the most part we balance one another out! 

Also, just like with any relationship; friendships has to be worked at and if it's worth keeping then it's worth fighting for! 

We Volunteer Together

 We play together 

We get our nails done together 

We go to the SPA together

We BREAK bread together

We PRAY together 

After all these years we are still together...

CHICKARITAS... HOUSE OF CHICKS RECAP!

Kiwi The Beauty hosted an event called: "Chickaritas"

The Beauty herself... Kiwi The Beauty Styled by Celebrity Stylist Melvin

The event was so GLAM & GIRLY!!!!

It was held at a Boutique called: "House of Couture" but we "The Chickarita's" took over the Boutique so it was officially named: "House of Chicks" 

We engaged in "Chick-Chat" Conversation... we discussed: Reality TV vs. Reality Life

Kiwi prepared questions and each quest took turns answering the individual question.  

Chicks + Margaritas = "Chickaritas"

This was my 1st time visiting this boutique and I was highly impressed with their selections and prices; I most definitely will be going back!
